Two studios for two. Identical square footage. One costs more than twice the other. Here's what that buys.
Casa Amber (Unit 238) and Honeymoon Dream (Unit 224) are the two studios in the Terrasol Elite collection. Both sleep 2. Both are exactly 976 sq ft. Both have a king bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private balcony facing the Pacific.
On paper they look like the same condo. They are not. Casa Amber starts at $162 a night. Honeymoon Dream starts at $400. That is a 2.5x difference for the same floor area, and couples shortlist them against each other constantly.
Here's the side-by-side, then the honest answer on whether the difference is worth it.
This is the whole comparison in one line. The two units are the same 976 sq ft. The extra money does not buy you a bigger condo. It buys you position.
Casa Amber is ocean view. You see the Pacific from the balcony, you get the sunset, and it's genuinely lovely. Honeymoon Dream is oceanfront and unobstructed. The king bed sits on a marble frame facing huge sliding glass doors, so the Pacific is the first thing you see when you open your eyes and the last thing before you close them. You step from the bed straight onto a balcony with a fire pit and a rattan swing.
If you'll be out most of the day exploring Cabo and the condo is where you sleep, Amber's balcony is more than enough and you keep $238 a night. If the condo is the trip, that's what Honeymoon Dream is for.
It's named that for a reason. Bed facing the Pacific, fire pit and a swing on the balcony, hydromassage bathtub with a rain shower head. Lorraine remodeled this one herself. It's the most photographed condo in the collection.
$162 vs $400 a night, and with code 50OFF that's $81 vs $200 through October 1, 2026. Amber is the best value in the entire collection, and you still get a Pacific-facing balcony with sunsets. Nobody has ever been disappointed by it.
The nightly gap compounds. Over ten nights that's $2,380 in difference, which is a lot of dinners at the Marina. Amber also has a washer and dryer in the unit, which matters more than people expect on a long stay.
Honeymoon Dream has a hydromassage bathtub with a rain shower head. Casa Amber has an enclosed glass door shower and no tub. If a long soak is part of how you unwind, this alone decides it.
If your days are fishing charters, the Marina, El Arco, and dinners out, you're using the condo to sleep and shower. Paying oceanfront rates for a room you barely sit in is the one case where Honeymoon Dream is genuinely the wrong call.
Both studios officially sleep 2. For three or more, look at Casa Ricardo (2 BR, sleeps 6) or the three-bedroom units. Going over the official count violates resort policy and triggers an extra-guest fee.
Lorraine and Monica are based in Cabo and have personally walked through both units. A 5-minute call sorts it out.
